Can I use Odbc 4 All to directly retrieve data from my remote [say your DB] database ? Yes, provided you have installed an ODBC32 driver for your DB. The driver is usually provided by the DB manufacturer or a 3rd party Company. Can you provide me an Odbc driver for my database ? Sorry, we do not develop ODBC drivers, nor we distribute them. What else do I need in order to import data from an Access DB to my DOS application ? You need the ODBC driver (which is usually already installed into your Windows PC) properly configured into the Control Panel, and a little knowledge of the SQL language. Is it possible to remove the screenshot dialog which is shown each time I start Odbc 4 All ? Yes, provided you are using at least the 1.1 Odbc 4 All version, but only after the software has been registered with the proper license keys. Please see the html manual for more information. |
